First Month of 2009 down, 11 to go!

Well this year should be quite interesting, considering the economic state the country is in. Things are looking quite ugly and we are all just hoping to be able to keep our jobs through this mess. Just maintain what we have and reduce expenses where ever we can. Hang On this can be a rough ride!

Well I was looking at a video sent to me from Skulltronix about using their bust prop as a startle scare. It was quite good because it was just sitting there, all docile looking and then in an instant the face gets crazy mean looking and screams all at the same time.

So I am going to replicate this using their skull. I will have the head in a stationary, lowered head position. Then when it is triggered it will jerk upwards eyes turning bright red , face lights turning a bright green, screaming at a loud volume while the head jerks from the left to the right. Then it will calm down and let out a soft maniacal laugh.

It will be on the porch behing the wall. I will make a small fence to keep the kids far enough back that they can't touch it.

Ok so my right shoulder is messed up but I got a massage and that helped. I am now stretching it alot to help. So I will be doing the prep work lefty.



I have Presidents day off, then I am taking that Thursday and Friday for my painting birthday party, party of 2 at best. Astrid will be helping me, she gets all the low spots, I get the ceiling and bulk of the walls. Once done I can then do some projects for Halloween, I intend on doing alot of the projects very early this year to minimize the stress of the deadline.



Projects -

Mauseleum for the back of the graveyard where the organ player was last year. It will have the flying crank ghost inside.

Program the animatronic skull for the party and halloween night on the front porch.

Build a cabinet to hide and hold the scissor prop change to a witch and add lighted fog from the inside.

Build fake rocks with speakers inside to add sound to the graveyard.

Get situp skeleton in casket ready to be used on opposite side of the driveway.

Get videos transferred to desktop of the ghost and leaded glass window.

Find the 5 Clip MP3 players and partner them with the new 10 watt amps and find or purchase speakers for them.

Record new sounds on the Halloween Screamers and find powered speakers to partner them with.
